Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility
– Trade-in is open to all customers in Klang Valley
– All aluminium household ladders are accepted for evaluation – A-Shape Step Ladder, Platform, Multipurpose, Telescopic, and Extension.

2. Trade-In Evaluation
– Customers must submit clear photos (front, side, and close-up of condition) for accurate evaluation.
– Step by Step reserves the right to adjust or reject trade-in applications if photos do not match the actual ladder condition.

3. Trade-In Value
– Trade-in value is provided as a discount toward the purchase of a new Step by Step ladder.
– Discount value is not exchangeable for cash, store credit, or vouchers.
– Only one trade-in discount is allowed per new ladder purchased.

4. Ladder Drop-Off or Collection
– Customers may drop off the trade-in ladder at Step by Step location 
– Collection service may include additional charges depending on location.
– The old ladder becomes non-returnable once the trade-in is confirmed and collected.

5. New Ladder Purchase
– Trade-in discount is applicable only for selected models within the Step by Step ladder range.
– Cannot be combined with other promotions unless stated otherwise.

6. Timeline & Confirmation
– Evaluation typically takes 1–2 working days.
– Trade-in must be completed within 5 days after receiving the confirmed trade-in value.

7. Program Validity
– Step by Step reserves the right to modify, pause, or terminate the trade-in program at any time without prior notice.
– All decisions made by Step by Step regarding trade-in value and eligibility are final.
